A Vey Central Location in a Historical hotel in Stockholm City Cnere
The hotel was very centrally located within walking distance of many restaurants, museums, shops and the railway station. Staff were extremely helpful, understanding and sympathetic to the rather complicated situation that we found ourselves in, when part of the ceiling in our room collapsed, more about it below. Breakfast had a great selection and there was the option to sit outside in the beautiful summer weather. Although the hotel was next to a park, our rooms were quiet and we slept well.
We had a very unpleasant experience on our second night in the hotel. Staying in a cosy room on the fourth floor room 418, we heard a loud crash around 11 pm which turned out to be one of the very heavy stone tiles from the ceiling. Thankfully, we were not close to the collapsed portion of the ceiling otherwise there may have been injuries. Maintenance staff came immediately and noted the damage. Hotel manager Astrid was very kind and understanding, she moved us to a more spacious room for the rest of our stay for no extra cost and also allowed us to have drinks from our room bar that night after our incident. Unfortunately, an I phone on the bench close to where the ceiling tile dropped was damaged. I really appreciated the assistance and understanding I received from the receptionists Marian and Zizi who helped us through what could have been a very difficult situation. The care and attention from the hotel made our stay memorable but maintenance and safety issues have to be taken into account in future. But it was truly a boutique hotel from the personal care and concern and help that we received from the staff.

A wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel with plenty of facilities
perfect location in the city - wonderful breakfast - beautiful hotel & room all facilities were available perfect for a celebration
the bed - we had asked a double bed - king size - but had two single beds instead the staff was correct, but very distant and not at all informative
